pink with envy

so let me EXPLAIN…while in atlanta this weekend my bestie AMY came to play. we had planned on some yard-sale-ing, but started too late and then decided to try our LUCK at the local thrift stores. we went to GOODWILL looking for furniture, but LUCK or FATE {not sure which it was} drove us towards the SHOES. i know i KNOW…i agree with ALL that you are thinking, but just WAIT. as we approach the shoes i am expecting the USUAL {beat up flip flops, clunky-chunkies, and bridesmaid discardings} but my eyes IMMEDIATELY landed on a STUNNING pair of PETAL PINK LEATHER HEELS. and the CLOSER in i moved, the more PLEASED i became {you know me and my heels}! it made me even more EXCITED to see they were BCBGirls!  as i examined them, it was apparent they had NEVER been worn. EVER! but then the happy news turned a little sad when i tried to SHOVE my size 8 foot into the 7 1/2 size shoe. it was IMMENSELY disappointing. but then my small footed {size 7 1/2} AMY came up behind me and was SMITTEN as well! they fit her like a GLOVE {or a pair of REALLY great heels}! i was SO excited that they fit her. i know you think i’m LYING, but if they couldn’t fit me, i had to have someone i LOVE who loved them AS MUCH AS ME to have them! needless to say, she went home DELIGHTED. and although i have a CLOSE relationship with BCBGirls’ heels, i have an EVEN CLOSER relationship with my amy! the BEST part is, she insists that i borrow them to ENJOY them a bit, too! thanks, amy. LOVE YOU! OH! and your HOT NEW shoes. YUM!
