twilight criterium

five years ago i attended my very first twilight.

it was also mine and adam’s first official date.

we went with a bunch of adam’s {soon to be mine} friends.

after standing in the crowd for awhile, adam decided we needed some quiet time so he could work his magic on me.

so he grabbed my hand and pulled me through the crowd.

soon we had made it to the top of the parking deck, overlooking all of pretty athens.

the view was great and the company was greatest.

he read my palm and told me my fortune, only so he could hold my hand.

the breeze was nice and the quiet was nicer.

each year since then we have made an effort to travel back to athens for the twilight criterium.

this year we went with a large group, again.

we had lots of fun.

took lots of pictures.

made some new friends.

and we even went to the top of the deck again, to see our view.

and goof off a little.

but mostly to reminisce.

the best date with my best friend.
