it’s the 4th of july time of year! it was so fun. we really did see fireworks thursday, friday and saturday night! best year for fireworks, ever!

{this is actually from night #2, our camera was dead on the first night of festivities}

{with the blanks and lauren’s parents}

{the next day mom, ben, mick and i went to the augusta july 4th fair downtown and had a blast!}

{ben and mick made friends with the ice cream lady}

{these were all of the treats you could partake in at the fair. i had a lemonade and mom had cotton candy, nothing else}

{although we all mooched some cotton from mom. it was SO yummy. vanilla flavored!}

{we decided to extend our fun onto one of the kiddy rides. it was hilarious!}

{mom, riding with ben, screamed her head off the ENTIRE time. hahah}

{random huge cow and carton of ice cream. notice mick “milking” the cow and ben modeling the carton for us}

{locals riding ponies}

{pretty ponies}

{this photo is to portray the old/rundown-ness of augusta…notice the boards and all}

{our next stop was the “car show”, consisting of about 20 cars}

{it’s nice to have these reminders…we might forget!}

{this is our country spread of yummy-ness, including adam’s pride and joy (his ribs)}

{and my momma’s blueberry cobbler, made form the berries i picked last summer! mmm…}

{after dinner, we took some family photos}

{then it was fireworks-watchin’-time, again!}

LOVE 4th of july and this year was great!

happy birthday, america!

    Oh, those ribs looked good! Looks like I missed out on some serious awesomeness downtown… :-) Hey, where again did you pick those berries?
